On our Discord, we use a system of ticketing to get help from the team. This page documents when to open which ticket. We try to limit the amount of ticket categories as much as possible. When in doubt, open an assistance ticket.

Please be patient with these tickets. The team consists exclusively of volunteers who do this in their free time. You should only tag people to whom you are responding, and do not contact team members directly for things which should be tickets. If something is especially urgent (think: a game-breaking bug), you may tag the moderators once.

Whitelisting

You should open a whitelisting ticket to create a new character. The process is detailed in the whitelisting rules.

You may also open a ticket here for any questions related to your character, such as whether you can add or change certain details to your character’s appearance or background.

Moderation

This category of tickets is sent to the moderation team.

Report

If you believe that someone has broken the rules, or if you have an issue with someone, or if you spot a build that isn’t conformant, you may open a ticket here. You are invited to open these tickets also for small problems. We don’t want to police everything, but it is important to track patterns of rule-skirting to keep a healthy community.

You should include the following information:

**Name:**
**Time and date (with time zone):**
**Description:**
**Cite which rule was broken:**
**Proof:**

If a location is relevant, copy-paste the command from Shift+Alt+L.

Assistance

When in doubt, this is the ticket you should open. It’s the ticket you open for help which requires someone with special privileges for a solution. For example, maybe you bought one hundred items from a vendor when you only meant to buy ten. A moderator can solve such a problem for you.

Do not open an assistance ticket for simple non-sensitive questions. Open a thread in #questions-and-help instead.

If a location is relevant, copy-paste the command from Shift+Alt+L.

Infiltration

Whenever you start an infiltration, you should open an infiltration ticket. The guidelines for this ticket are written in the Infiltration rules.

The two following templates may be helpful:

Before infiltration:

**Infiltrated clan:**
**Location:** Copy-paste from `Shift+Alt+L`
**Goal of infiltration:**

And after infiltration:

**Summary of actions:**
**Summary of taken items:**
**Stealth roll at end of infiltration:**
**Can be tracked using:** Survival / Society

Suggestion

Rather than having public suggestion threads which have a habit of stirring heated debate, we ask you to open tickets for suggestions. These suggestions can be big, but should ideally be small.

All suggestions should be concrete and actionable. There should be a single suggestion per ticket. They should also obey the spirit of the pillars listed on the home page.

Issue report

If you spot a bug or any type of issue, you may open an issue report. You may also open an issue report if you believe that something on the website is poorly worded and could be improved.

The following template is especially helpful:

**One-sentence description:**
**Steps to reproduce:**
**Expected result:**
**Actual result:**
**More information:**

Game mastery

You may open a game mastery ticket for the assistance of a game master. This is especially useful for players of sorcerers, but anyone can open a ticket to get game master guidance and input.

For lore questions, open instead a thread at #questions-and-help.
